Ancillary task Reaserch- Magazine Website Homepage
At this point of my blogging, I have decided to do some research on Thriller film websites to have a look at the ways in which the the their genres have been incorporated into the website homepage, how the audience are immediately informed of the genre of the film, through the use of colours, images and sound effects.

Ancillary task Reaserch- Magazine Front Cover
As my A2 cmedia coursework includes a main task (Red Ridding Hood teaser Trailer) and two ancillary projects. I have chosen to make a film magazine front cover featuring my teaser traile rand a website homepage for my trailer. In this presentation, is my reaserch into film front covers; analysisng some codes and conventions which they hold as well as their characteristocs. Having said all of this, these codes and conventions are not new to me as I made my very own magazine front cover for my AS project. So this could more or less be classified as a recap.

ShotList.
In this presentation is the list of shot which would have to be taken ito account when we do start the trailer prodcution (shooting).
The shotlist would allow me especially (as the camera woman) to acknowledge the shots which are need as well as the angles they are to be shot at; that is with the help of the director ofcourse.
Chosen Locations.
Chosen Locations to be used in thriller trailer. After doing my location scouting. I had to then pitch my ideas and locations to my direcotr and producer during a production meeting. This meeting allowed us to make some conclusive decisions together as a group for the benefit of our trailer.
In this presentation are the locations which we have chosen to use as well as some brief changes which has been made to the storyboard which has subsquently affected some of our original locations.

Ways inwhich creativity has been shown through storyboard
In these series of slides are some points and ways inwhich my group members and I have shown off some of our creative skills. these slides also include how I; as the editor plan to ensure that this project is successful. However, Please note, that the aims shown here are just the basic ones which I plan to achieve, More aims are yet to come.
Location Scouting
As stated ealier, as well as taking up the roles of the editor, I have also taken up the role of the location scout. That means my duties include searching for the best suited locations for each shot. I have taken tripts to the locations which i think may suit the shots. In this slide are the vaious locations, maps on getting there, my basic comments and images taken while at these locations.

Little Red Ridding Hood Storyboard.
In this presentation the storyboard of oour little red ridding hood teaser trailer. This trailer was constructed around our script as they both had to merge and colide to ensure that the final product looks professional and decent.
As the editor, I drew the storyboard as well as chose the apporpraite sounds for each shot/event. I now had to put all the reaserch which I had done earlier (Insidious, Dont be afraid of the dark and The Roommate) to good use. the study of sounds, editing techniques and shot types had to be taken into account.

Little Red Ridding Hood script.
In this blog is some pracical planning from my team memberes and i as we thought about the making of our script. we used an official little red ridding hood script as a platform to build ours. however, we tried very hard to keep our version as original as possible to help to show our crtivity skills.
While creating our script we had to remember that we are only making a teasers trailer NOT a movie, this meant that voice overs and dialogues had to be kept to the minimum.
